The
Circuit
The Passion preamplifier utilizes a low mu 12AU7 input stage
feeding two 5687's in a zero gain buffer output stage that is capable
of directly driving most lower impedance headphones. A
switch located on the front panel allows switching between
line level and headphone output.
Each
Passion preamplifier is handcrafted of the finest materials and top
quality parts including Clarity Cap capacitors, military-grade DALE metal-film 1%
resistors, Dale 3% wire-wound resistors, Copper/Teflon internal signal wiring and more.
The
Chassis
The
chassis follows suit of all of our Musica Bella products.
The chassis design allows
for quick and easy tube rolling with the
tubes accessible through the top. The
chassis is constructed of a combination of veneered Baltic
Birch and acrylic. For those
looking for a the beauty of hardwood, we
also offer solid hardwood finished chassis'. As with all
Musica Bella products, the Basis is
custom built to meet your personal needs and
preferences.
In this single chassis designs, the power supply is
separated from the main circuit by an aluminum shield. The
standard single chassis measures 15" x 12" D x 4" H.
The
Sound
The
Passion provides a clean yet full sound bringing emotion
back to your listening experience. With the zero gain tube
buffer output stage, you will fall in love with all your
music all over again.
